  OneStep™ to Resuscitation

  • Get the most from your R Series® resuscitation platform with OneStep Electrodes for adults and pediatrics. OneStep Complete Electrodes for adults offer high-current defibrillation and capture CPR quality. These electrodes can also be used for monitoring and for cardioversion, and to deliver constant-current pacing—without the need for a separate three-lead ECG cable.

OneStep Pediatric CPR Electrodes provide the only CPR support for children under 55 pounds, while also enabling defibrillation, pacing, and cardioversion. When pediatric electrodes are attached, the R Series automatically reduces the starting energy to 50 joules to ensure safe defibrillation.

OneStep Electrodes can remain pre-connected, even during a 30-joule shock test, because of a patented dual-circuit design. There is no need to disconnect the electrodes to test the defibrillator, meaning readiness is not compromised.

Stat-padz

ZOLL Stat-padz® are the fastest, easiest-to-use multi-function defibrillator electrodes and are optimized for emergency resuscitation situations. Unique ZOLL features save life-saving seconds and maximize efficacy:

  • Preconnect™ saves critical application time.
  • Speed Pack™ reduces cord tangles and fumbling.
  • Anatomically correct diagrams facilitate proper pad placement.
  • Improved polymer gel enhances lateral conductivity; results in less skin effects.
  • Center energy feed distributes energy uniformly; reduces edge effect.
  • Differentiated round front and rectangular back pads are diagrammed to facilitate proper pad placement.

For compatibility with AED Plus® and AED Pro®, choose Stat padz II, with the same great features as the Stat-padz, but with a specially designed connector that works directly with the AEDs.

CPR-D-padz

One Electrode Pad is Easier than Two

ZOLL's Full-Rescue AEDs feature CPR-D-padz®, a one-piece, pre-connected electrode with Real CPR Help® feedback.

Ordinary AEDs require that the rescuer use two separate electrodes. By using CPR hand placement as the landmark, it is easy to place the CPR-D-padz on the victim quickly. The CPR-D-padz also lasts five years-the longest shelf life of any defibrillator electrode sold today.

Real CPR Help

Inadequate compression rate and depth are common during CPR. Adult victims need at least 100 compressions per minute and at a depth of at least 2 inches (5 cm). Compressions must be done well to effectively move blood and oxygen.

The ZOLL AED Plus® converts compression data instantaneously from the CPR-D-padz and provides an adaptive metronome to help the rescuer with the proper rate and depth, saying "Push harder" or "Good compressions," as needed. It also shows CPR compression depth on the display screen. ZOLL's AED Plus is the only AED that helps the rescuer achieve the correct rate and depth of chest compressions during CPR. No other AED has both these capabilities.

Everything You Need for the Rescue

The CPR-D-padz comes complete with a CPR barrier mask, scissors, disposable gloves, a prep razor, a towel, and a moist towelette.

CPR Stat-padz

Benefits of Real CPR Help Comes with Placing CPR Stat-padz

ZOLL CPR Stat-padz®are designed for use with AED and professional defibrillators.  The two-piece construction ensures all therapy options are available  to the ALS responder, while the unique design gives it utility in both the Anterior/Anterior and Anterior/Posterior placement.

Real CPR Help

Failure to adequately compress a victim's chest or to compress too quickly is a common error during CPR.  Real CPR Help® provides real-time feedback on compression depth and rate during CPR. Simply place hands on the CPR sensor and perform CPR; software in the AEDs and professional defibrillators evaluates rate and depth.

See-Thru CPR

See-Thru CPR® allows rescuers to see the underlying electrical activity during compressions to minimize the duration of pauses.

Pedi-padz

Meeting the Challenges of Pediatric Patients

ZOLL's Pedi-padz® Multi-Function Electrodes are the most technologically advanced pediatric multifunction electrodes, designed to meet all pediatric ACLS criteria. Specially formulated low-viscosity gel provides the best skin coupling, lowers resistance quickly, and virtually eliminates dermal damage. Both Pedi-padz Multi-Function Electrodes and Pedi-padz Pacing Only Electrodes offer anatomically correct diagrams on the packaging to facilitate proper pad placement.

Pedi-padz II

The Only Full-Rescue AED with Intelligent Pediatric Capability

The ZOLL AED Plus® Intelligent Pediatric Capability includes voice and text prompts that tell rescuers that Pedi-padz® II are connected, ensuring that the proper defibrillator electrodes are being used. When a cardiac arrest occurs, the fact is that only half of the victims will need a shock. The other half requires cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Separate and specific algorithms for adults and children are used to analyze a victim's heart rhythm. The ZOLL AED Plus can defibrillate children up to eight years of age, using the Pedi-padz II electrodes. Separate energy levels also have been incorporated for pediatric patients. Electronics in the AED Plus adjust defibrillating energy levels automatically so that suitable doses are delivered accurately, when needed. With ECG analysis designed specifically for a pediatric heart rate, coupled with appropriate defibrillation energy levels, the AED Plus can handle both adult and pediatric rescues.

Pedi-padz II electrodes are designed especially for use with the AED Plus, and are also compatible with professional defibrillators, allowing continuity of care. The AED Plus does not rely on a resistor or other hardware in the wires to reduce delivered energy. Anatomical diagrams on the package facilitate proper pad placement.

CPR-D padz Trainer Electrodes

CPR-D Training padz®, ZOLL's unique system, allows users to simulate electrode application and hand placement for CPR. When used for CPR manikin practice, the AED Plus® Trainer and CPR-D Training padz help train users to perform CPR with the correct compression depth and rate.
